Much of the information contained in this section on human factors is dervived from the Health and Safety Executive's revised Guidance HS(G)48 entitled Reducing Error and Influencing Behaviour. The revised guidance is now firmly directed at all workplace sectors, whereas the prevision version Human Factors in Industrial Safety was slanted towards the heavier industrial sector.
