- Can the work equipment be isolated from all sources of energy?

- Is suitable and sufficient lighting provided for operation and maintenance of work equipment?
- Can maintenance of work equipment be carried out safely?
- Are manufacturers markings and general warning signs displayed?
- Is mobile equipment used for carrying people?
- If so, is it designed for carrying people safely?
- Are measures taken to prevent the roll-over of mobile equipment?
